THE AMERICAN PUBLIC HEALTH ASSOCIATION (APHA) is the oldest, largest and most diverse organization of public health professionals in the world and has been working to improve public health since 1872. The Association aims to protect all Americans and their communities from preventable, serious health threats and strives to assure community-based health promotion and disease prevention activities and preventive health services are universally accessible in the United States.

PHARMACISTS SOCIETY of the STATE of NEW YORK, founded in 1879, is a not-for-profit incorporated society representing the pharmacist profession and is the largest pharmacy association in New York State. This society was developed for the purpose of considering and discussing matters of pharmacy interest and furthering the scope of practice for pharmacists. PSSNY shall unite the pharmacists of NYS State for mutual assistance, encouragement, and improvement in order to maintain the standard of pharmacy practice at a high professional and ethical level.
